“Hi Cathy.  I just wanted to let you know that Jewells is adjusting nicely.........Originally, there was a NO BEDROOM rule (not by me!), but that only lasted for one night!............ Brian didn't really want me to get a cat because "they stink, they shed, and they don't do anything!"  so, he had a long list of "conditions" for me to adhere to.  well, it's been two days and he's broken every single one of his own rules!  It didn't take her nearly as long as I thought it would to win him over!

So, needless to say, we are very happy with her and I think she's getting used to us too.  So far, she seems to want to be wherever the people in the house are, but like you said, not ON the people!  However, she did take it upon herself to join me in the shower this morning - that was a little unexpected!
